The social learning theory is a theory developed by Albert Bandura. In the first and second groups, some children were exposed to same-sex models and some watched opposite-sex models. later witnessing the adults behavior, the children were placed in a manner with toys and they were told that they were not allowed to play with these toys in order to frustrate them. wherefore they were taken into a room with toys and a bobo doll. The study showed that children who had seen an aggressive model were significantly more aggressive both physically and verbally towards the bobo doll. It also showed that children were more likely to imitate same-sex models. According to Bandura, this study supported the social learning study, since the children showed signs of observational learning.
