I. INTRODUCTION
A. Greetings:
Good cockcrow SGM and students of class 35. I am Command Sergeant major(ip) McKenzie from 1 battalion 178 FA from South Carolina.
B. Classification.
I will be presenting a 10-minute unclassified brief.
Saudi Arabia is located between the expiration and Arabian seas and with the Persian Gulf located north of Saudi Arabia.
The purpose of this briefing is to provide information on the rustic of Saudi Arabia. I will be covering Saudi Arabias national purpose, ideology, national interest, national power, threats, and any attainable United States involvement.
II. BODY
The base flag of Saudi Arabia, the shahada or Islamic profession of faith (There is no deity but God and Muhammad is the Prophet of God) on full-blooded green was an old flag, connected to the Wahhabi reformist movement of the upstart 18th century, with whose religious drive the Al Saud family first move to power. The sword was added in 1902, when Abdul Aziz ibn Abdul Rahman Al Saud (Ibn Saud to the British) established himself as grand Turk of the Nejd.
A. Background Information
The Saudi state began in underlying Arabia in about 1750 C.E.

The modern Saudi state was founded by the late King Abd al-Aziz Ibn al-Saud (known internationally as Ibn Saud). In 1902, Ibn Saud recaptured Riyadh, the al-Saud dynastys ancestral capital, from the contention al-Rashid family. Continuing his conquests, Ibn Saud subdued al-Hasa, the rest of Nejd, and the Hijaz between 1913 and 1926. In 1932, these regions were unify as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
