In A& axerophthol;P, the supermarket represents the American Middle-Class harbor System. This value arrangement plays a major consumption in the lives of the customers and the townspeoplespeople. Conservativeness and old-fashion thinking were portrayed in the customers of the A&P. They supported the traditional ideas approximately the family with the roles of women in society. In the A&P, the women were labeled as houseslaves. They did all the grocery shopping in the family, and nonhing more. The women were genuinely conformist, sheeplike.

The value of no sex initiated the dress code of the A&P. Customers were dressed appropriately, which showed purity. Cleanliness both morally and physically was expected. The order of magnitude such as where the things are placed, following the traffic rules, and the power structure of manager (Lendell) to employee (Sammy) all supported the rules and regulations of the American Middle-Class abide by System.

The Capitalistic System Values play an important role in both the town and the A&P. The town had three real estate agencies and ii banks. The A&P was a business, a store where the townspeople could go and save money. They believe, a centime saved is a penny earned. The A&P was also a place that offered jobs to people who needed them (Stoksie and Sammy who were employees of the A&P).

The tone that represents the American Middle-Class Value System is the store manager, Lendell. after seeing the three girls walk into the store in washup suits, Lendell addressed the girls by telling them the rules of the dress code in the A&P, and lets them know that it is not appropriate. There it shows that Lendell is financial support one of the many values of the American Middle-Class Value System.

What is A&P? Its probably not in the assignment but maybe onther sentence on A&P and a bit on its size, age of archetecture, or other things like that would be instrumental for non-local readers



Overall, good es judge with good analysis of common solar day goings-on. Also, keep in mind that there are two gentles of capitalism. Upper class capitalism, and everyone elses capitalism. Elites do not follow rules, they braid rules to serve their own interest. You mention middle class, and capitalism, but perchance a distinction between two ideas of capitalism would say more about the town, the store and middle america.

I dont understand whats so good about this essay that makes it top in its category. Its kind of interesting, but rather short for what it is trying to describe.
