WINTERBOURNE After a report of abuse from a older member of staff was not followed up by rivet or the CQC this staff member went to a TV flesh c in alled panorama there they secretly filmed clients being mistreat. They were shown to be pinning go through, slapped and taunted. After the investigation the CQC utter there was a systemic failure to protect people or to check up on the allegations. The man termment had failed to notify CQC which is a legal duty to do so with injuries sustained by their clients or when they went missing. Inspectors in addition said that the staff were oblivious(predicate) and didnt understand the needs of their clients. The CQC also say that afterward the allegations were made it seemed it was far worse than was in the beginning stated by the member of staff who reported it initially. The telephoner had misled the CQC and if the officials had cognize action would of been taken sooner. As soon as the CQC was copiousy alive(predicat e) they took travel in protecting these penetrable people and alerted the police.
