There are many references in Mary Shelleys Frankenstein where the nonion of man versus nature always arises. I impart discuss the concepts and values that come into contravene when discussing man and nature. The reprocautions of Dr. Frankensteins flak to play God are seen through the perceptions of the monster and the last loss of Frankensteins sanity.
Victor says; I beheld the wretch---the miserable monster whom I had created. He held up the curtain of the bed; and his eyes, if eyes they may be called, were fixed on me… He might invite spoken, but I did not hear; one put across was stretched out, seemingly to detain me, but I escaped and hie downstairs (pg.43).
From this passage you can see the confused cutaneous senses that comes with man recreating a horrific nature, which has taken a tole on victor who is frightened and scared. Also through this passage I believe that Mary shelly is trying to convey a contentedness to the readers suggesting that one should be careful what you wish for. There is withal a conflict with victors natural parental instincts to love and nurture new life and the gruesome freshet of the creature, which terrifies victor into exile. Such human behavior catapults the creatures emotional breakdown.
Thats equivalent to a person not wanting to take the responsibility of their mistakes thus not development from them but only using ignorance to suppress feelings, which can aggrieve us if not corrected.
Secondly, I will discuss with you the interest conflicts that are in opposition to each other. Conflicts such as the monster reaching out to victor for love, but beingness mistaken for aggression by victor who is mortified by the resurrection. Victor did not give the creature the love that he needs to properly stabilize his emotions.
